Greetings from the freezing East Coast cold, where I just had the distinct pleasure of having two days off to spend with family and friends. I wanted to take a few minutes away from this Flogging Molly tour to update you folks on the goings on, so here goes…
Firstly, I’m fired up to announce that the fine folks at Rise Records will be re-releasing Resolutions on March 26th. They have all kinds of cool pre order bundle things and posters and all of that, so be sure to check out what they’re cooking up. It’s great to know that a record I worked really hard on is in such capable hands, so keep your eyes peeled, especially all of you who have been looking for it and unable to find it. Your search is about to end.
Secondly, and the thing I’m the most fired up about, is that when I wrap up my touring with Flogging Molly on February 17th, I head right into the studio to record the follow up to Resolutions. I’ll be updating that whole process regularly on the web, so stay tuned for all of those details as well.
Thirdly, I’m extremely honored to be on The Revival Tour in the US/Canada this spring. I jump onto the tour in DC on 3/26 and play through to the end in LA, go here for … Continue Reading…
Hello folks, and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones….
2012 was a very busy one, tons of touring and writing so not a whole lot of time to fill your email inbox up with various spam about what I’m up to. That said, I figured a fresh new year should start with at least a quick update…so here goes:
From January 24 – February 17th I’ll be supporting Flogging Molly in the U.S.A. on their “Green 17 Tour”, through the midwest, the east coast and the south.
From there I go straight into the studio to make the follow up to Resolutions, I have almost 20 songs and a great cast of musicians to play on the tunes. More on that later as details become concrete, but hoping to knock out the recording of that and get it into your hot little hands lickety split…
…and from there, I head back out in the U.S.A. on the one and only Revival Tour. I’m so fired up to be a part of another RT, Chuck has so graciously offered his amazing tour to me once again and it always feels like home. TREAT YOURSELF to a ticket: http://www.therevivaltourtix.com
Tons more going on, heading back to Europe and it sounds like Australia and Japan are on tap too, so I’ll try to … Continue Reading…

I met the guys who run Jade Tree in 1998, when I was selling T shirts for Kid Dynamite. It was one of those friendships you inadvertently start that really changes your life.
Tim and Darren have been friends ever since, and the music they put out of the years has always been consistently amazing and the aesthetic they bring to everything they do certainly has had a big influence on me. I’m extremely proud to release this Heavy Heart 7″ on JT and to cover The Promise Ring and Jets To Brazil, two incredible bands, that without knowing Tim and Darren I may have totally missed out on way back when.
DAVE HAUSE “HEAVY HEART” 7″ EP TO BE RELEASED ON 5/29 Dave Hause’sHeavy Heart is Jade Tree’s offering in a series of 7″ EPs spanning a variety of independent labels, including SideOneDummy, Bridge Nine Records and Chunksaah Records among others.
